"How Does One Become a Butterfly?"
"How does one become a
butterfly?" she asked pensively
"You must want to fly so much
that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar"
"You mean to die?" asked
Yellow...
"Yes and no," he answered
"What looks like you will die,
but what's really, you will live"

Daddy's Prayer
Dear God, I need to
know, why did you take Abby above?
I am her Daddy, she was my little girl.
I miss her so much since she went to heaven.
I cry everyday, I am so sad
without her.
I long for the day I
can hold her again.
If I had one more chance, I'd hug her real tight.
I'd tell her I love her and kiss
her good-bye.
Tell her I miss her,
and think of her every day.
She is forever in my heart.

Broken Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

"While
Waiting for Thee"
Don't weep
at my grave,
For I am not there,
I've a date with a butterfly
To dance in the air.
I'll be singing in the sunshine,
Wild and free,
Playing tag with the wind,
While I'm waiting for thee.

A Butterfly
A butterfly lights
beside us like a sunbeam.
And for a brief moment,
its glory and beauty belongs to our world
And then it flies on
again.
And though we wish it
could have stayed,
we feel blessed to have
seen it.
